Description

This is a house dating from the late 18th and early 19th centuries, with later alterations and an extension. It is constructed of hammer-dressed sandstone with a pantile roof and brick stacks. The house has a two-cell, direct-entry plan, originally one room deep, with a rear extension added later. The symmetrical front facade has two bays, with irregular quoins to the ground floor. The central entrance features a half-glazed door between two-light, small-pane, horizontal sliding sash windows with stone sills. Matching sash windows are located on the first floor. Heavy, milled lintels are above all the openings. End stacks are present.
