Description
Holly Grove is a house with an attached outbuilding, dated 1820. The house is built of brick in Flemish bond and features a Westmorland slate roof, while the outbuilding has a pantile roof.
The house is two storeys and has a loft, with three bays. It has a central door made up of six fielded panels, which is topped by an overlight and set within a doorcase that has a pediment supported on consoles. The house also features 16-pane sash windows set in exposed sash boxes, with cambered flat arches and projecting keystones. The roof has shaped kneelers and ashlar coping, and there are brick stacks at both ends.
The attached outbuilding to the left is one and a half storeys tall and has no openings on the front. It has a dogtooth eaves course, a shaped kneeler, and ashlar coping on the left side.
On the left side of the house, there is a loft window and metal letters reading "TB 1820." The left side of the outbuilding has a board door on each floor, while the right side of the house features a 12-pane fixed-light loft window.
