Description

Rose Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of brown rubble sandstone and has a pantile roof. The building is a single storey and consists of two cells. On the left side, there is a 19th-century timber porch with a part-glazed four-panel door. The cottage features two side-sliding sash windows and a tall central brick chimney. This cottage is a rare example of an unaltered single-storey village dwelling.
