The gate pier and attached wall, located approximately 125 metres south-east of Monk End Hall, likely date from the early 18th century. Constructed of red sandstone, the square-plan pier stands about 3 metres high and features a stepped top. The wall extends approximately 4 metres in length and reaches a height of 2 metres, with a boarded gate interrupting its structure.
