Description

Thornbrough is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed from coursed rubble with a 20th-century pantile roof. It features a double-depth plan, is two storeys high, and has three bays. The building has quoins and a central 20th-century part-glazed door set beneath an overlight, all framed in an ashlar surround with a keystone. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are also set in ashlar surrounds with keystones. The roof has shaped kneelers, and the right front kneeler is marked with the letters "H J T." The farmhouse has a two-span roof and brick end stacks.
