Description

Farm buildings located to the south of the farmhouse at Bridge Farm, dating to the early and mid-19th century. The buildings are constructed from sandstone and river cobble, with brick dressings, and have sandstone and pantile roofs, although some sections have corrugated metal replacement. The ranges enclose three sides of a farmyard, which is open to the south. The buildings display varying rooflines and likely different dates of construction, yet they are broadly contemporary with the farmhouse and share a consistent overall character and small scale. The west range, which faces the road, features a sandstone roof and is particularly visually significant. These buildings are included on the list for their group value alongside the farmhouse at Catterick Bridge.
