Description
No. 3 Station Road is a stable and two cottages, now functioning as a house, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. The building is constructed of rubble with Welsh slate and pantile roofs. It is two storeys high with one window in the left section and two windows on the first floor. The left section features quoins and has a four-panel door to the left, along with four-pane sash windows, the one on the first floor being smaller. The roof is covered with Welsh slate, and there is a brick stack at the end on the right. The right section is set back and also has quoins, one of which has a weathered sundial. It has a central four-panel door and a blocked doorway to its right. There is an iron ring for tying up a horse in the wall to the left of the doorway. The four-pane sash windows are located below brick flat arches, with smaller windows on the first floor. There is another brick stack at the end on the right. On the left return of the left section, there is a blocked first-floor pitching door. This building is included for its group value.
