Description

This chest tomb, dating from around 1746, is located approximately 3 metres east of the east end of the Church of St Mary. It commemorates Mrs. Catherine Hole, who died in 1746. The tomb is made of sandstone ashlar and features sides decorated with panels of pointed quatrefoils, with two on the longer sides and one on the shorter sides. The ends are flanked by pilasters with a console section. The moulded lid has a well-cut inscription.
