Description

A group of four chest tombs from the late 18th century is located immediately west of the south aisle of the Church of St Mary. These tombs commemorate members of the Kearton family from Old Park House. They are made of ashlar sandstone. The three southernmost tombs feature plain sides on moulded bases, while the northernmost tomb has console-section pilasters and ogee panels. All four tombs have moulded lids with well-cut inscriptions.
