Description

There are four gate piers located near Lawn Lodge, dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. They were built for the Duke of Leeds of Hornby Castle. The piers are made of ashlar sandstone and have a square plan with chamfered bases. They feature hollow-chamfered capitals and ball finials at the top.
