Description

Grooms Cottage is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a graduated stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and a symmetrical facade with three bays. The central entrance consists of a glazed door that has a blocked overlight, situated beneath a flat stone arch with a keystone. All the windows are four-pane sashes, each with stone sills and flat arches that also include keystones. The cottage is topped with stone coping and has end stacks, with the stack on the left side being reduced.
