Description
This foldyard, located approximately twelve metres southwest of Kirby Hall Farmhouse, dates from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of mottled pink brick in English garden wall bond and features a pantile roof. The foldyard consists of four one-storey ranges of buildings that form a square layout. The entrance is on the east side, flanked by boarded doors and cambered-arched windows, one of which is slatted. There are flat-arched cart openings at the left end. The roof is flattened and pyramidal, with two levels, the upper level raised for ventilation. This structure is included for its group value.
