Description
Sloethorne Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse with a later extension and a 20th-century alteration. It is constructed of mottled pink brick in an English garden wall bond, with a pantile roof and stone slate verges. The farmhouse has a central-entry plan with a parallel rear range, and a two-storey, five-window front. A central glazed door is set within an added glazed porch. The windows are throughout 2-light, large-pane casements with painted stone sills. Raised first-floor and eaves bands are present. End and central stacks have cogged brick cornices. The left return features tumbled-in gable ends to both ranges. The porch is not considered to be of particular interest.
