Description
Village Farm is a farmhouse located on the south side of Main Street in Little Ouseburn. It dates from the mid-18th century and has some alterations from the 19th century. The building is constructed of orange-red brick in English garden wall bond and features a pantile roof. It is two stories tall with a three-window front. There is a four-panel door positioned to the left of center. The windows are 2-light, 16-pane horizontal sliding sashes, with the ground floor windows being taller than those on the first floor. The ground floor windows have segmental arches, except for the left end window, which is a later addition. A three-course band runs along the first floor, and there is a brick dentil eaves course. The building has stacks at both ends and one left of center. At the time of the resurvey, the farmhouse was unoccupied.
