Description

This folly, located approximately 70 metres west of Howsham Hall, dates from the late 18th century and is constructed of limestone ashlar. It stands two storeys high and features five bays, with the outer bays set back slightly. The ground floor has a blocked round-arched door, which is flanked by pairs of blocked 2-light mullions. On the first floor, there are three blocked roundels. The roof had collapsed at the time of the resurvey. This structure is included for its group value with Howsham Hall.
