Description

This is a row of three shops with living accommodation above, dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century, and altered in the 20th century. The building is constructed of painted brick, with a Westmorland slate roof. The ground floor features three shop windows, retaining some original 19th-century fascias and carved brackets on the left-hand property (No. 61). The first floor has a right-bowed sash window with glazing bars to No. 65, and small canted bays with plate glass windows to Nos. 61 and 63. The second floor features three windows with 2 and 4 panes of glass each, with a wedge-shaped lintel above the window on the right. Decorative gutter brackets are present. Brick stacks with dentilled cornices are situated between each property.
