Description

Two urns are located at the base of the steps in the courtyard at Kildwick Hall. They date from the mid to late 18th century and are made of gritstone. Each urn features a splayed base, a bowl decorated with swags, and a gadrooned cover topped with a ball finial. These urns were removed from the north gate piers of the lower garden in the mid-20th century. The steps themselves are not of special interest.
