Description
The Rectory is an early 19th-century building constructed from hammer-dressed limestone, featuring a brick service wing and a Welsh slate roof. The house has a central entrance with extensions to the right. It stands two storeys high and has three bays in the main house, with a single-storey extension to the right and a service wing that rises to two storeys at the rear right. The central bay of the main house is slightly recessed and includes a half-glazed door set within an architrave that has a cornice on consoles. This door is flanked by tall sash windows with glazing bars, which are positioned beneath flat arches. The extension to the right features round-arched windows and has a pyramidal roof. On the first floor, the main house and service wing both have sash windows with glazing bars; the main house windows have flat arches, while the service wing windows have wedge lintels. The side bays of the main house and the service wing both have hipped roofs, and there are stacks located at eaves level.
