Description

This is a pair of cottages built in 1824, as indicated by the datestone, for the Norcliffe Estate. They are constructed from hammer-dressed limestone and feature a Welsh slate roof. The cottages are two storeys high and have two first-floor windows. Each cottage has a pointed 6-panel door and pointed windows in the outer bays. On the first floor, there are casements in altered window openings, with a central datestone that reads: A N June 24 1824.
