Description
Goslingmire Farmhouse is an 18th-century building that has undergone some alterations. The walls are rendered, and the roof has been replaced with ridged concrete tiles, although it still features stone copings and kneelers. The farmhouse has end chimneys and is attached to a cottage, with both structures standing two storeys high and having two windows, although the farmhouse is taller. The windows are primarily sash windows with glazing bars, although one or two have been modified within their original openings. The back elevation includes a Yorkshire sash window and a round-arched staircase window, which reveals a gracefully curved early 19th-century staircase.
