Description

Rosecroft is a late 18th-century house with 19th and 20th-century alterations, accompanied by a front garden wall, gate, and railings dating primarily to the late 19th century. The house is rendered and colour-washed, with a slate roof, while the garden wall is of red brick in an English garden wall bond. It is a two-storey, three-window house. The front features panelled double doors with an overlight, set beneath a blocked first-floor window. The windows are 16-pane sashes with painted sills. Architectural details include a raised first-floor band and dentilled eaves band, with end stacks. The garden wall is approximately 0.50 metres high and has chamfered stone coping. The gate and railings, standing at approximately 0.75 metres high, are composed of foliated scrolls with fleur-de-lys finials, and the gate posts incorporate a sunflower motif. An outbuilding on the left is not of particular heritage interest.
