Description

Church Hill Cottage is an early 19th-century house located on the north-east side of Main Street, Great Ouseburn. It is constructed with a rendered and colour-washed facade, featuring a pantile roof and colour-washed brick stacks. The house is two storeys high with a two-window front. A six-panel door, recessed and with a blocked patterned overlight, is positioned slightly to the right of centre. There are two 16-pane sash windows to the left of the door, one window to the right, and two windows on the first floor. The window openings have stone sills and cambered heads. End stacks flank the front elevation. The building is included on the list for its group value.
