Description
Walnut Farm House is a farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is likely timber-framed and constructed in orange-red brick laid in a loose English garden wall bond, topped with a pantile roof. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window front. There is a four-panel door located in an added gabled porch to the right of the centre. The ground floor features three-light windows, with the two on either side of the door having central sashes, while the window at the left end is a horizontal sliding sash. The first floor has 20th-century cross windows and a three-course band running along it. The gables are coped, and there are stacks at the centre left and right ends of the house. The farmhouse is included for its group value.
