Description

These are a pair of cottages dating from the early to mid-19th century, located on the east side of Village Street in Crathorne. They were originally built as a single property. The cottages are constructed of limewashed brick, with a Welsh slate roof featuring long hips, deep eaves soffits, and tall brick end chimneys with cornice bands.

The cottages are single-storey. The central section has six pointed-arched openings, with the two middle ones serving as doorways. There is a similar blocked opening in the flat-roofed side wings. All openings have interlaced glazing bars within their heads, and the windows are glazing-bar sash windows. The doors are six-panel doors.
