Description
Oak Lea is a cottage that likely dates from the late 15th century, with some later alterations. It is constructed of brick in Flemish bond and has a pantile roof. The building is two storeys high with a loft and consists of three bays. The central entrance features a four-panel door beneath a wooden canopy set in a round-arched opening, although the tympanum above is blocked. The cottage has four-pane sash windows with projecting sills and flat arches that include projecting ashlar keystones; the central window on the first floor is blind. The roof has shaped kneelers and ashlar coping, and there are end stacks. On the right side, there are loft windows.
