Description
Crimple Valley Viaduct, built around 1848 by George Hudson, is a significant structure featuring 31 arches and standing 110 feet high over the Crimple Valley. The viaduct is constructed of rusticated grit stone ashlar, with arches that have round heads, voussoirs, and imposts. It is topped with a parapet that includes a dentil cornice below.
