Description
30 and 31 Westgate are 18th century cottages that stand two storeys tall, constructed from coursed stone with a pantile roof. They feature stone coped gable ends with kneelers, brick stacks, and a stone eaves cornice. Number 30 has two windows with stone lintels that include keystones, and it lacks glazing bars, instead having modern shutters. The ground floor has a modern door situated beneath a stone lintel with a keystone. There is an extension at right angles that includes a garage door with a wooden lintel. Number 31 has two sliding sash windows that include glazing bars, with three-light windows on the ground floor, also featuring wooden lintels. The door here is topped with a wooden lintel as well.
