Description

This is an early 19th-century house located on the south side of Lead Lane in Brompton. The house is built of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a machine tile roof. It has two storeys and three bays. On the right side of the left-hand bay is a six-panel door with an overlight, set within the brickwork and framed by a pilastered surround, topped with a flat brick arch. To the right-hand bay are double-boarded carriage doors set within a basket-arched opening, featuring brick voussoirs. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars; the ground-floor windows have flat brick arches, and all windows have stone sills. There are dentilled eaves, shaped stone kneelers, stone coping, and end stacks, along with one stack to the ridge.
