Description
The former laundry, located approximately ten metres north-west of Oran House, is a disused building from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed watershot rubble and features a pantile roof. The structure is single storey and has three windows. To the left and between the first and second windows, there are 6-panel doors set in ashlar surrounds with interrupted jambs. The building also has 24-pane sash windows positioned beneath brick segmental arches, along with ashlar copings. A brick chimney is situated between the first window and the second door. Inside, to the left, there is an inserted brick bread oven and a first floor, while to the right, there is a large room that includes an ashlar fireplace. The building is included for its group value.
