Description

Fort Horn is a folly that has been converted into a house, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble and features lead roofs. The building has a three-storey central bay that is flanked by symmetrical single-storey bays. The central bay includes a rendered canted bay with early 20th-century sash windows set in plain stone surrounds, along with a glazed garden door on the ground floor. The structure is topped with a castellated parapet. The flanking bays are adorned with Venetian windows that have intersecting glazing bars and also feature castellated parapets.
