Description

These are an early 19th century pair of buildings forming a symmetrical façade of five windows, situated on Church Square. The buildings are two storeys high with basements and dormers, and have a hipped roof covered in stone slate. The exterior is pebble dashed, with flush framed sash windows. The ground floor end bays feature segmental bowed windows with cornices. The architraved doorways have pediments, altered fanlights, and doors. Nos 7 to 9 (consecutive numbers) form a group with Nos 9A, 11, and 12, along with The Empress Hotel.
