Description

No 40 on Quakers Lane is a building from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It stands three storeys high and is constructed from coursed rubble with a slate roof. There are two stacks at the gable ends. Each storey features two later hung sash windows with glazing bars. The doorway is segmental-headed and includes a keystone, with a plain door. This building is included as part of a group with Prior House, and it likely formed part of the same premises. Prior House, No 40, and the former stables to Prior House collectively form this group.
