Description
Rosemary Cottage, located at No 11 on Victoria Road, dates from the 18th century. This building has two storeys and attics, featuring two 19th-century gabled semi-dormers with carved bargeboards and finials. On the first floor, there are two windows, while the ground floor has a shop front with fluted pilasters and modern glazing bars. The entrance door is made up of six panels and is set in a stone architrave, which is similar to that of No 9. The door has shaped and moulded jambs, a fluted frieze, and a cornice. Rosemary Cottage is connected to the Victoria Road elevation, which has two modern pedimented doors. It forms a group with Nos 9 to 13 (odd) on Rosemary Lane.
