Description

Higher Land House and the attached barn date from the late 18th century. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with a stone slate roof. The house is two storeys high and has three bays, featuring quoins. There is a central doorway with large stones at the joints. The windows have recessed square mullions; the left bay has three lights in each window, while the other bays have two lights. The barn, which is an addition but not significantly younger than the house, has a segmental cart entry made of rubble.
