Description
Cornborough Hall is a mid-18th century house located on the north side of Farlighton Road, Sheriff Hutton, North Yorkshire. It comprises two parallel ranges set beneath an M-shaped roof, with a central hallway entrance. The building is rendered and has a pantile roof. The two storeys are divided into three bays. The front features a six-panel door with a divided overlight, flanked by twelve-pane sash windows. A first-floor band runs along the façade. Above are further twelve-pane sash windows. A dentilled eaves course is present, along with shaped kneelers on the gable ends and end stacks. The interior has not been inspected, but local accounts suggest the presence of plaster ceilings, panelling, and wood carving on the staircase.
