Description

The Haven is a late 18th-century building. The main front is constructed of brick with decorative stone bands and rusticated quoins, topped by a parapet. Stone gables mark the ends of the building. It has four windows with stone arches, each fitted with double-hung sash windows containing glazing bars. The building is two storeys high, with a large dormer window and a pantile roof. A section has been built out on the ground floor. The rear elevation is in stone and features one window with a stone arch and a sash window with glazing bars, along with three irregular windows on the ground floor. The front door is topped by a rectangular fanlight and a flat hood supported by consoles. A tablet above the door reads 1812-1932 VSG.
