Description

Gates and piers located approximately 120 metres to the east of the house at Grimston Park Estate, built around 1840 by Decimus Burton for the second Lord Howden. The gates feature ashlar piers with cast-iron gates. The piers are rusticated, square in shape, and stand about 3 metres high, topped with moulded cornices and ball finials. The double gates have two levels of bars and an ornamental overthrow.
