Description

Ashwell House is a mid to late 18th century house located on Bond End in Knaresborough. It is constructed from coursed squared limestone and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and two first-floor windows. The central entrance consists of a 20th-century half-glazed door, which is flanked by sash windows with glazing bars set in flush wood architraves. On the first floor, there is a central blind window, with a 9-pane sash window to the left and a 16-pane side-sliding sash window to the right, both also in flush wood architraves. The house has end stacks.
