Description

No 4 Eastgate is a building from the early to mid-19th century, featuring two storeys constructed of stone with rusticated quoins and a pantile roof. It has stacks at the gable ends and three windows that are hung sashes with glazing bars, topped with stone lintels and vermiculated keystones. The building has a modern shop front and a dentil brick eaves cornice. Above the carriage entry, there is a painted section that connects this property to the adjoining one. No 4, along with Nos 4 to 6 and No 17, forms a group, with No 6 being of local interest.
