Description
Langthorpe Villa is a house built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick in English bond and has a Welsh slate roof. The building stands tall at two storeys and features three bays. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with a fanlight above, which has glazing bars. This door is flanked by attached Ionic columns that support a tall entablature with a deep cornice. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, stone sills, and wedge lintels throughout the structure. There is a moulded eaves cornice and a steeply-pitched hipped roof, which is topped with two large stacks that have brick bands located at the rear of the ridge line. The interior has not been inspected.
