Description

The Methodist Chapel in Marrick Hurst is an early 19th-century Wesleyan chapel constructed from watershot rubble, featuring large flush quoins and a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has two first-floor windows. A central doorway is framed by a sandstone ashlar surround with a semi-circular head and keystone, leading to paired boarded doors. The windows are sashes with glazing bars. The chapel also has ashlar copings and an end stack on the right side.
