Description

No. 8 Saville Street is a house and shop dating from the early 19th century, with some alterations made in the late 20th century. The building is constructed of pink and cream mottled brick laid in Flemish bond, featuring stone dressings. It has a pantile roof with a brick stack at the right end. The front of the building is three stories high and has two windows. The ground floor has a modern shopfront, while the first and second floors feature 16-pane sash windows with stone sills and wedge lintels. There is a raised band at the first floor level, and the roof is masked by a plain parapet with flat coping.
