Description

65 and 67 Frenchgate are late 18th century buildings featuring roughcast walls and a stone plinth. They have a Welsh slate roof and rise to three storeys, with decorative kneelers and three chimneys, one of which is modern. The buildings have three windows arranged in a 2-1 pattern, all with moulded stone frames. On the ground floor, there are two Victorian bays with 19th-century glazing, and a 19th-century stone doorcase with consoles that support a broken pediment. These properties are part of a group that includes Nos 55 to 75 (odd) and Nos 79 to 83 (odd).
