Description
Holly Tree Farmhouse is a house dated 1753. It is constructed of coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and has a graduated stone slate roof. The house is two storeys high, with three storeys on the left-hand side, and is three bays wide. It features quoins. A six-panel door is set within a flat arch with voussoirs between the first and second bays. All windows have flat arches with voussoirs. The ground floor has a 20th-century casement window in the first bay, and three-light casement windows in bays two and three. A datestone above the door is inscribed "C H Imeson and Jane 1753". On the first floor, the first bay has a small two-light casement with a larger blind window above it, while the two right-hand bays have six-pane sash windows with stone sills. The building has shaped kneelers and stone coping. It features end and ridge stacks.
