Description

The seat at Quarry Gill Bridge, dated 1832, was built for William Danby of Swinton Castle. It features a semicircular-arched apsidal structure. Inside, there is an inscription that reads, "This seat overlooking some of the beautiful works of the Creator was built with a grateful mind by William Danby esq, AD 1832."
