Description
Nos 62, 63, and 64 on North Street in Ripon are mid-19th century buildings constructed of pink brick with a slate and modern pantile roof. The structure stands three storeys tall and features three bays. The second floor has cased flush-framed sash windows, while the first floor showcases canted oriel windows with round-shouldered sashes. The shopfronts include elements that may be contemporary to the building, such as Tuscan pilasters and moulded wooden cornices, along with a round arched passage entrance on the side. The shopfronts for Nos 61 and 63 are later additions, featuring fluted tapering pilasters that support moulded consoles, windows with turned glazing bars and shaped spandrels, and doors set in panelled reveals.
