Description
The Church of St Cuthbert, dated 1799 on a plaque above the door, is built from coursed squared stone and features a roof that has been renewed with clay tiles and boarded eaves. Designed in the Gothic style, the church has a bell turret at the west end. It consists of a two-bay nave and a one-bay chancel, which appear undifferentiated from the outside but have a triple arcade inside. The south face has three pointed arched windows, and there is one pointed arched window at the east end, all with plain surrounds and interlaced glazing bars. Additionally, there is a round arched doorway with a keystone.
