Description
Low Foxton Farmhouse, dating from the 18th century with some alterations, is constructed of local handmade brick. The roof has been renewed with modern tiles, and the brick end chimneys are rendered. The gables feature tumbled-in brickwork. The building is two storeys high with three wide windows. It has early to mid-19th century sash windows with vertical bars, set within wooden architraves and topped with gauged flat brick arches. There is a central French door.
On the rear elevation, there are small casement windows. Inside, the farmhouse contains a few chamfered beams and boarded doors.
Attached to the east end of the farmhouse is a U-shaped range of buildings from the early to mid-19th century, made of red brick and covered with pantiles. This range includes stables on the left and a barn on the right, which features segmental arched openings and vents with a diaper pattern.
