Description

Low Moor Farmhouse is an 18th and early 19th century farmhouse located in North Yorkshire. It is constructed of red brick and rubblestone, with a pantile roof. The house is two storeys high and originally had two bays, though it was later extended to the right, creating a double-depth plan and a total length of four bays. The rear part of the house dates back to the 18th century. A three-step approach leads to the front door, a six-panel door set within a moulded architrave, above which is a blind fanlight within a round brick arch. The windows are predominantly 16-pane sashes, with one 16-pane casement window to the right of the front door. Ground floor windows have flat brick arches. The eaves are dentilled, with stone coping and end stacks. The rear elevation incorporates 20th century windows to the ground floor, and three original two-light windows above.
