Description
Leathley Lodge is a house built in the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a Westmorland slate roof. This single-storey building is designed in a mock Tudor style and has an octagonal shape. The exterior includes rock-faced rustication at the plinth and chamfered rustication above. There is a gabled porch that leads to a four-panel door, which has a hoodmould above it. The windows are three-light mullion windows, also with hoodmoulds. The eaves are deep and corbelled, and the roof has small slates at the front and larger slates at the rear, with a central corniced stack.
